About Beacon Hill Country Club
Beacon Hill Country Club is one of New Jersey's oldest private clubs, established in 1899 on an elevated hilltop in Atlantic Highlands with sweeping views of Sandy Hook Bay and the Manhattan skyline. The 18-hole, par-71 course was redesigned in 1917 by Walter Travis, the celebrated U.S. Amateur champion and architect known for his demanding green complexes, with restoration work completed by Stephen Kay in 1999. The club has hosted multiple New Jersey State Golf Association championships, cementing its place as a historic fixture in Garden State golf.
