About Old Warson Country Club
Old Warson Country Club is a prestigious private club founded in 1954 in Saint Louis, Missouri, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. on the area's natural rolling terrain. The course gained national prominence as the site of the 1971 Ryder Cup and has hosted multiple USGA championships, including the 1999 U.S. Mid-Amateur and the 2009 U.S. Women's Amateur. A 2006 renovation by Rees Jones preserved the classic design while refreshing the course to championship standards.
