About Rochester Golf & Country Club
Rochester Golf & Country Club is a historic private club founded in 1916 in Rochester, Minnesota, with deep roots in the city's Mayo Clinic community. The 18-hole championship course was originally designed by A.W. Tillinghast and underwent a meticulous restoration by Ron Prichard in 2002-2003, reviving the classic bunkering and strategic features of the original layout. The club has hosted multiple Minnesota Golf Association championships, including the 1958 Minnesota State Amateur and the 1977 Minnesota State Open.
