Kalamazoo Country Club is one of Michigan's oldest private golf clubs, established in 1909 and rooted in more than a century of Kalamazoo sporting tradition. The 18-hole parkland layout was originally designed by renowned architect Willie Park Jr., with subsequent modifications by William Mitchell in the 1920s, producing a classic course that plays to a par of 72 and carries a slope rating of 135. The club has hosted multiple Michigan Amateur Championships, underscoring its longstanding role in the state's competitive golf history.
