Sankaty Head Golf Club is a historic private club founded in 1923 on the eastern bluffs of Nantucket Island in Siasconset, Massachusetts, defined by its dramatic clifftop setting alongside the iconic 1850 Sankaty Head Light lighthouse. The original Emmett French design was refined by Gil Hanse in a 2007 renovation, the same year the club hosted the U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship, and the course is celebrated for sweeping Atlantic Ocean views that few layouts anywhere can match.
