About Ledgemont Country Club
Ledgemont Country Club is a historic private club founded in the early 1920s in Seekonk, Massachusetts, established by members of the Providence Jewish community who sought their own course during an era of restricted access at other area clubs. The 18-hole layout was originally designed by Scottish architect Willie Park Jr. in one of his final American commissions, featuring natural ledge outcroppings and classic bunkering that were later sensitively restored by Ron Prichard in 2007. The course has hosted the New England PGA Championship and the Massachusetts Amateur, cementing its reputation as one of southern New England's most historically significant private layouts.
