The 18-hole, par-71 layout was originally designed by Willie Campbell and later redesigned by Donald Ross in the 1920s, with a Ron Prichard restoration preserving the classic bunkering patterns. The seaside course offers views of Massachusetts Bay and has hosted both the Massachusetts Amateur and Massachusetts Women's Amateur Championships.
