Founded in 1902, the Country Club of New Bedford is one of the oldest private golf clubs in New England, situated in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts. The 18-hole course was redesigned in 1973 by Paul Harney, a noted golf professional and architect, and features a demanding layout with a slope rating of 130. The club holds a notable place in regional golf history, having hosted the 1998 New England PGA Championship with competitors including Phil Mickelson.
