The Country Club in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, founded in 1882, is the oldest country club in the United States and one of the most historically significant golf venues in the world. Originally designed by Willie Campbell in 1893 and later restored by Gil Hanse in 2019, the course is forever linked to Francis Ouimet's landmark 1913 U.S. Open victory and has hosted four additional major championships, including the 1999 Ryder Cup.
