The 18-hole, par-71 course was redesigned in 1927 by noted architects Wayne Stiles and John Van Kleek, whose classic New England layout has been carefully preserved through subsequent restoration work. A founding member of the Massachusetts Golf Association in 1903, Woodland has hosted multiple Massachusetts Amateur and Open Championships across its long history.
