The course, originally designed by Herman Hackbarth and significantly renovated by Joseph L. Lee in 1986, stretches 7,085 yards with a challenging slope rating of 134 and has been recognized among the best courses in Louisiana by Golf Digest. The property is notable for its centuries-old live oaks and a demanding par-72 layout that has hosted U.S. Open qualifying rounds.
