Louisville Country Club is one of Kentucky's most storied private golf institutions, established in Louisville in 1908 with an 18-hole course originally designed by celebrated amateur champion and architect Walter Travis in 1913. The club's Walter Travis-designed push-up greens and historic Tudor-style clubhouse reflect more than a century of tradition, with the course thoughtfully restored by Tyler Thompson in 2009 to preserve its classic character.
