About Lexington Country Club
Lexington Country Club is one of Kentucky's oldest private golf institutions, established in 1901 in the heart of the Bluegrass region. The 18-hole parkland course was originally designed by Tom Bendelow and underwent a substantial 1992 renovation by architect Arthur Hills, resulting in a layout that plays to 6,853 yards with a slope rating of 135. The club has hosted notable Kentucky Golf Association events, including the 1984 Kentucky State Amateur and the 1997 Kentucky Open Championship.
