About Kansas City Country Club
Kansas City Country Club is one of the oldest private clubs west of the Mississippi River, established in 1896 and situated in the affluent Mission Hills enclave of Kansas City. The current 18-hole course was designed by A.W. Tillinghast and opened in 1927, showcasing his signature strategic bunkering and elevated greens across a par-71 layout measuring nearly 7,000 yards. Restoration work by Keith Foster in 2007 has preserved the integrity of Tillinghast's original design, keeping the course among the most respected classic layouts in the Midwest.
