About La Grange Country Club
La Grange Country Club is a historic private club founded in 1899 in La Grange, Illinois, making it one of the Chicago area's earliest golf institutions. The 18-hole course was redesigned in 1924 by William Langford and Theodore Moreau, whose signature midwestern style is preserved in the classic bunkering and traditional push-up greens. The club has hosted notable Illinois Golf Association championships, including the 1953 Illinois State Amateur and the 1981 Illinois Open.
