About Idlewild Country Club
Idlewild Country Club is a historic private club founded in the early 1900s in Flossmoor, Illinois, a southern suburb of Chicago. The 18-hole parkland course was redesigned by Donald Ross in 1913, featuring his signature subtly undulating greens, and has hosted notable events including the 1922 Western Open. A 1996 restoration by Ron Prichard helped preserve the integrity of Ross's original design across the club's par-72 championship layout.
