About Pelican Golf Course
Pelican Golf Course is a historic private club in Sunset Point, Florida, originally designed in 1925 by California architect Albert C. Martin and refined through a 1985 renovation by Lee Smith. The 18-hole, par-72 layout is recognized for its fast, complex greens and tree-lined fairways that preserve the strategic character of early 20th-century course design. The club hosted the 1972 Florida State Amateur Championship and stands as one of the state's well-regarded examples of traditional golf architecture.
