About Wethersfield Country Club
Wethersfield Country Club is a historic private club founded in 1924 in Wethersfield, Connecticut, featuring an 18-hole parkland-style course designed by Robert D. Pryde. The club served as the birthplace of what is now the PGA Tour's Travelers Championship, hosting the inaugural Insurance City Open in 1952, with the course later refreshed by Mungeam Cornish Golf Design in 2016 while retaining its original character.
