About La Cumbre Country Club
La Cumbre Country Club is a historic private club founded in Santa Barbara, California, whose origins trace back to 1908 as an equestrian establishment before evolving into a full golf destination. Robert Trent Jones Sr. redesigned and expanded the course to 18 holes in 1966, lending his signature touch to the tree-lined fairways and well-manicured greens. The club gained national recognition by hosting the 1977 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship and is known for its distinctive 15th hole, famously called the Tunnel Hole.
