The course was designed by the celebrated father-and-son team of Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Jr., featuring rolling fairways, well-manicured greens, and shady oaks, with a 2008 renovation by Pascuzzo & Pate refreshing the layout. The club's landmark entrance gates, originally erected in the 1920s by a French count atop the historic Mureau Estate, stand as a recognized piece of local California history.
