About Anthem Golf & Country Club
Anthem Golf & Country Club is a private 36-hole club established in 1999 within the master-planned Anthem community, nestled in the Sonoran Desert foothills approximately 33 miles north of Phoenix. Both the Ironwood and Persimmon courses were designed by Greg Nash, each playing to par 72 with slope ratings of 139 and 143 respectively, featuring dramatic elevation changes, desert landscaping, and mountain views. The Persimmon course's par-3 17th hole is a standout, playing to a desert island green surrounded by native Sonoran terrain.
