About The Lakewood Club
The Lakewood Club is a historic golf facility situated along the shores of Mobile Bay in Point Clear, Alabama, originally designed by Perry Maxwell and opened in 1947. The club features two 18-hole championship courses, The Dogwood and The Azalea, with The Dogwood stretching to 7,104 yards following a comprehensive renovation by the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail team in 2018. Set within the grounds of the Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa, a member of Historic Hotels of America, the club blends deep Southern history with a classic coastal golf setting.
