About The Philadelphia Cricket Club

The Philadelphia Cricket Club, founded in 1854 in Flourtown, Pennsylvania, is one of the oldest country clubs in the United States, offering 45 holes across two historic courses rooted in the early days of American golf. The flagship Flourtown Course, a 1922 A.W. Tillinghast design restored by Keith Foster in 2013, stretches to 7,119 yards and carries the architect's signature strategic bunkering, while the 1895 Willie Tucker-designed St. Martins Course ranks among the oldest layouts still in operation in the country. The club has hosted major championships including the 1907 U.S. Open and the 2003 U.S. Amateur, and remains one of the few clubs in America to maintain an active cricket pitch.
