About Oakwood Country Club
Oakwood Country Club is a historic private golf club founded in 1912 on the east side of Kansas City, Missouri, later relocating to its current site in the early 1960s. The 18-hole, par-72 parkland layout was originally designed by prolific early American architect Tom Bendelow and underwent a significant renovation by Keith Foster in 1999. The club has hosted notable regional competitions including the Missouri Amateur Championship and carries a course rating of 72.8 with a slope of 135 from the championship tees.
