About Oak Park Country Club
Oak Park Country Club is a historic private club founded in 1914 on the outskirts of Chicago in River Grove, Illinois. The 18-hole course was designed by Donald Ross and opened for play in 1915, featuring his signature elevated greens and strategic bunkering routed along the Des Plaines River valley. A 1996 restoration by Ron Prichard preserved much of Ross's original design intent, and the club has hosted notable competitions including the Illinois State Amateur and Illinois Open Championship.
