Gil Hanse designed the 22-hole layout — including an alternate par-69 "Whiskey Route" — across sandy, pine-studded terrain ideally suited for match play. The club operates as a golf retreat with on-site lodge accommodations, making it one of the more distinctive and talked-about modern additions to American private golf.
