About Feather Sound Country Club
Feather Sound Country Club is a private 18-hole club founded in 1976 within the Feather Sound residential community of Clearwater, Florida, originally designed by noted architect Joe Lee and later redesigned by Bob Cupp in 1988. The course stretches to 6,900 yards from the championship tees and is best known for its island-green 14th hole, a dramatic feature that draws comparisons to the celebrated 17th at TPC Sawgrass. The club also served as host to the JCPenney Classic mixed-team event from 1990 to 1998, cementing its place in Florida golf history.
