About Silver Spring Country Club
Silver Spring Country Club is a private 18-hole club founded in 1930 in Ridgefield, Connecticut, and designed by Robert White, the first president of the American Society of Golf Course Architects. The course, updated by Mark Mungeam in 2002, plays to a par 72 at 6,702 yards with a slope rating of 135, and has hosted the Connecticut Open Championship. The club's fifth hole, a demanding 446-yard par-4, has been ranked among the toughest holes in New England, while the Georgian-style clubhouse has served as a Ridgefield landmark for nearly a century.
