About Old Overton Club

Old Overton Club is a private 18-hole golf club founded in 1993 in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, set amid the rugged foothills terrain southeast of Birmingham. The course was co-designed by former U.S. Open champion Jerry Pate and Tom Fazio, featuring dramatic elevation changes, natural limestone outcroppings, and a challenging slope rating of 147 from the championship tees. Old Overton has served as a host venue for Alabama State Golf Association championships and underwent a greens renovation in 2017 to maintain its bentgrass putting surfaces.
